NCC unit in the college campus was established in July 1964. This NCC unit 5/51 UP COY NCC in associated with the 51 UP Battalion NCC Balrampur with authorized intakes of 154 cadets inception the ANO’S/CTO’S & PI staff are devoted towards the training of the cadets to fulfill the MOTO of NCC i.e., “Unity & Discipline”. The NCC course duration has been extended from 2 to 3 years in 2013 – 2014. The NCC course curriculum carries multifarious activities like military training, adventure & social services etc. for the accomplishment of NCC objectives. Tenure of ANO’S/CTO’S – 1: Major (Dr.) S.K. Mishra, (1964 to 1981) Department of English. 2: Major (Dr.) S.P. Singh (1981 to 2019), Department of Geography. 3: Dr. Surya Bhan Rawat (CTO) July 2019 to till date (Department of Sociology).

In 2019 – 2020 Gorakhpur group has got first position in IGC Group competition in UP Directorate. Three Cadets of our college performed well in this competition.

Senior under officer Mr. Amit Kumar Bajpai achieve ‘A’ grade and best cadet award in all India skiing camp, Our cadets attends different camp like TSC, SKKING CAMP, RDC etc. more than two dozen cadets select in Army & Paramilitary forces in every year.
